Sport Tactics

Physical Education

Teaching and providing monthly, quarterly, or year-long physical education programs, creating curriculum and lesson plans based on CA Physical Education State Standards, in addition to health, nutrition, fitness, physical and mental wellness lessons. 

Sports

Students will participate in a wide variety of sports and activities from traditional team sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee to individual challenges like track and field, dance, fitness and pickle ball. Each sports is introduced in a fun, supportive environment, allowing students to learn locomotor skills, body movement, fundamentals, sportsmanship, leadership and responsibility.

Health and Wellness

Health and wellness is an essential component of a well-rounded physical education program. These lessons go beyond physical fitness to cover topics like nutrition, stress management, reading food labels and the importance of sleep. Incorporating health and wellness education can encourage students to take ownership of their health, helping them understand how physical activity, healthy eating habits and emotional well-being are interconnected. Equipping students with this knowledge empowers them to lead healthy, active lifestyles. 

Community

Involving the community and families in students' physical education enhances the impact of the program  by fostering a supportive environment that extends beyond the classroom. When families are engaged, students are more likely to maintain healthy habits and remain motivated to stay active. Community involvement such as family hike day, fitness in the park, meet at the farmers market, reinforces the idea that health and wellness are shared values. This collaboration helps create a culture of physical activity and well-being that students can carry with them into their everyday lives and beyond.
